ABOUT BCG
Bazil’s Church Guitars (BCG) was founded by Leigh Dicker, supported by the mentorship of Ray Black Luthier & Trevor Pickles.
Leigh is a highly experienced Architect involved in design for over 50years. Opening his own Luthier Studio Workshop in the rural township of Anakie Victoria.
Bazil’s Church Guitars property was the former Anglican Church of Redemption established in 1858.
The venue space is a place for ART, MUSIC & CELEBRATION.

The materials used will always be sourced responsibly and researched carefully. The focus is to use the very best of Australian Tonal Timbers where possible.
We mill our own guitar sets from timber billets straight from the forest, cured and cared for to become your partner.
Each guitar will receive a carbon offset towards reforestation………….

The Brisbane Range Landcare Group receives a percentage
of all sales, for the purposes of native tree planting.
As of to date 125 native indigenous trees have been planted
into the local ecosystem.
PROCESS
Attention to detail from the very beginning.
From the moment your build commences,
your instrument's journey will be documented.

Upon completion the archive of the process and
creation will be curated into a book for you to keep
with your guitar as a part of its history.

BCG currently offers 3 styles and options within.
A smaller size bodied instrument to larger full bodied, these guitars feels comfortable in the hands of all players; with design at the forefront of its ergonomic and aesthetic principles.
The designs accommodate a range of musical styles when paired with the correct tonal timber selection and technical specifications.
